About
Shilajit is a dark, sticky resin that seeps from rock in the high Himalayas. This is the purified resin, in a sealed 20g jar — enough for six to eight weeks at a portion a day.
Take a rice-grain portion (300–500 mg) each morning, dissolved in a cup of warm water or milk. Stir until it has melted completely before you drink it.
The resin firms up in the cold and softens in the heat. That is normal. In winter, warm the jar in your hands for a minute; in summer, chill it briefly if it is too soft to portion.
Keep the jar sealed in a cool, dry place, and always use a dry spoon — moisture is what spoils resin.

Buying guide
Shilajit is sold in three forms. Only resin is the substance itself; the others are processed from it.
The purified substance in its natural, sticky form. Hardest to fake — what we sell.
Resin dried and ground. Easier to dose, but easier to cut with fillers.
Powder in a shell. Convenient, but you cannot see or smell what is inside.
Questions, answered
Dissolve a pea-sized piece in a cup of warm water or milk, once a day. Don't use hot water — it should be comfortable to drink.
Pure resin responds to temperature: it hardens in the cold and turns sticky in the heat. Warm the jar in your palm for a minute if it is too firm to scoop.
Anyone pregnant or nursing, and anyone on medication, should ask a doctor first.
Lid closed, at room temperature, away from moisture. Use the spatula provided rather than a wet spoon.
